Original Swedish oil painting showing a coastal village in Skåne with a fishing boat and a walking figure. Painted in the late 20th century. Calm composition and warm Nordic colors.
This original oil painting depicts a coastal village scene from Skåne in southern Sweden. A fishing boat rests near the shoreline, while a single figure walks along the road in the foreground. Modest houses sit close to the coast, surrounded by trees and open sky. The scene feels quiet and familiar.
Executed in oil on canvas.
The painting is built with confident, visible brushwork and a balanced color palette. The artist focuses on everyday coastal life rather than dramatic effects. The composition is simple and grounded, with a strong sense of place.
The work is presented in its original wooden frame, updated with a subtle modern finish inspired by Scandinavian interiors. The frame supports the painting well and gives it a clean, contemporary presentation.
The painting is in good vintage condition, with minor age-related wear consistent with its period. Overall presentation remains strong. This is a one-of-a-kind Swedish artwork with clear regional character.
