Hugo Kongsted Kongsmar (1894–1976) was a Danish painter born in Copenhagen and later active in Aarhus. Trained as a draftsman, his paintings often have a sketch-like quality. He worked extensively with coastal motifs from locations such as Løkken, Aalborg, and Aarhus. He changed his surname in 1911 and typically signed works with his last name, which has led to confusion with his father, the painter Hans Kongsmar.
