ABOUT THE ARTIST
Gunnar Herman Berglund (1906–1992) was a Swedish painter active in Skåne. He trained at Skånska Målarskolan and later studied in Copenhagen, London, and Paris, where he was influenced by post-impressionist color and modern European painting.
His work focused on Scandinavian landscapes, coastal scenes, and rural environments, often capturing light and atmosphere with a restrained palette. He exhibited widely in southern Sweden and is represented in the collection of Malmö Muse
