Description
Beautiful original oil painting of portrait of a country woman at work with the hay. Next to her is the horse-drawn cart with hay.
Oil on canvas.
The artist’s signature is in the lower right corner “K. Bøstrup”.
The painting is in generally good vintage condition and the frame has a few small marks (see pictures)
Estimated to be from the 1960s or 70s

About the Artist
Knud Bøstrup (1929-2011) was a Danish painter known for his impressionistic landscape paintings. He had a keen eye for capturing the mood and atmosphere of the landscapes he depicted.
His paintings were usually painted in happy colors with a slightly loose hand.
