About the Artist:
Birthe Kjærsgaard (b. 1949) is a Danish artist trained as a decorator. She studied under renowned painter Otto Krank (1965-1973) and later with master E. Thorbjørn (1972-1973, 1976-1977). She also attended Aarhus Kunstakademi starting in 1976.
Her works often depict children, landscapes, and still-life compositions, influenced by her travels across Holland, Italy, Austria, and Sweden. Many of her paintings have been sold to public institutions and private collectors.
