ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ejner Johansen (1893–1965) was a Danish painter educated in Copenhagen. He exhibited 26 times at Charlottenborg between 1916 and 1950. From 1926, he made repeated travels to France, which influenced his motifs and style. He received the Serdin Hansen Prize in 1931 and is represented in Danish museum collections.
