Vintage Spanish bullfight scene oil painting by Swedish artist Eric Lo Ohlqvist. Expressive oil on canvas from the 1960s–1970s showing a matador and bull in the arena.
This Spanish bullfight scene shows a dramatic moment in the arena. A matador stands face to face with a powerful bull. The red cape moves through the air as the bull charges forward. The composition captures movement and tension in a simple and direct way.
The artist uses bold brushwork and warm colors to build the scene. The glowing orange and yellow background suggests the heat and light of the arena. Dark tones in the bull create contrast and weight. Executed in oil on canvas.
The painting has strong visual impact and works well as decorative wall art. The subject brings a classic Mediterranean atmosphere to a room. It fits easily into both modern and traditional interiors. A striking vintage oil painting and a characterful piece of European painting for a living room, office, or gallery wall.
