About the Artist:
Kai Husum (b. 1931, died February 2007) was a painter from Brande.
Husum made his debut as a painter in 1952, and in addition to his oil paintings is also known for his sketches and illustrations for both books, newspapers and magazines. Husum’s works were often depictions of nature, where he developed from his darker coloring to his more expressionistic depictions of nature, characterized by heavy and colorful brushstrokes.
